we dont really want to catch the ferry, we are doing the Maya bay camping, so need to de there by about 2 oclock, do any of these go from patong to phi phi, in april, thanks

Do they offer and what would it cost to hire a long tail boat for a private ride for two up and down the cost for a couple of hours?

Yes, you can rent a boat and do whatever you please. My guess would be about 2,000 Baht for 2 hours.

Longtail Boat Hire from Patong - Patong Forum - TripAdvisor
You will see the long tail boats on the beach, especially the southern end. Prices start from about 1200 THB and that was to Freedom beach just around the corner. Great beach just make sure you get there and order your food early if you want to have lunch there!!

Hi Jacques and Chris,
We stay in Patong and catch a taxi to Rawai, from there we hire a long tail boat and ask them to take us to Coral Island.
They will want to take you to Bon Island which is closer.( We have not been to Bon Island).
