Hello,
I'm visiting Krabi later this year and staying at the Centara Grand resort in Krabi, I really want to hire a private long tail boat and visit some of the islands eg: Koh Hong
Has anyone hired a boat in Ao Nang, where would I go to arrange this or can I speak to somebody on ao nang beach?

Getting There:
From Krabi and Ao Ngang, you can book ferry tickets at several travel agencies and guesthouses (cost 350 baht pp) which included transport from our guesthouse to the ferry pier. The ferry trip from Krabi to Phi Phi island is about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Upon arrival you'll be required to pay 20 baht pp, the national park fee.
Getting Around:
Phi Phi is an ideal walking island, you can walk from Loh Dalum bay to Ton Sai bay in 10 minutes. No major roads exist here, it's a delightfully easy-going village...
