Hi...can anyone tell me what knd of bird this is? Its always on my balcony along with a mate who doesn't have tail feathers this long or distinct. I'm just curious. Thanks Kim

A Spiny-tailed House Gecko preyed upon by a Long-tailed Sun Skink
It is interesting to see a Long-tailed Sun Skink (Eutropis longicaudatus), which I would guess they are mainly insectivorous, capturing and swallowing an unfortunate Spiny-tailed House Gecko (Hemidactylus frenatus). The extremely long tail apparently facilitates this fairly large skink to adapt to more arboreal situations than its congeners. This species seemingly thrives well in eaves of buildings as there are plenty of these Hemidactylus geckos to feast.
