Ao Nang {Thailand}
Ao Nang is a quaint, little beach town in the Krabi province of southern Thailand on the Andaman coastline. From Ao Nang you can take a long tail boat to any of the nearest beaches or catch a ferry to one of the popular islands such as Koh Phi Phi or Koh Lanta. I was only in Ao Nang for one evening so I spent it at some sweet reggae place (that didn't end up actually playing any reggae). Nevertheless, I had a great time with my friend during our short stay in Ao Nang.

My return to Thailand with Green Pearls Unique Places saw me enjoy a few days in Bangkok before heading to the islands, which was a first for me. Hopping between Pimalai Resort on Koh Lanta in Krabi, Zeavola Resort on Phi Phi Island and Tongsai Bay on Koh Samui, I indulged in the warm waters, snorkelled till the fish grew tired of me, took catamaran, speed and long tail boat and lingered on white sandy beaches.

This is the one and only Maya Bay , famous for Leonardo DiCaprio's movie 'The Beach' We took this tour but there are different options you can choose from , one being a private tour which i would recommend doing if you have a little more money to spend. However we are backpackers so we go for the cheapest option! our tour was 300 baht pp and we had a shared long tail boat with around 15-20 people.
