Mud-skipper Thai Long Tail
420cc Predator motor from Harbor Freight mounted on a Thai long tail kit from http://www.mud-skipper.com. The kit went together fairly easy. But the transom mount did not work out real well so I redesigned it, well actually cut the thing up and mounted it on a spare johnson mount from a 1945 5 horse. I have alot of modifications done to the motor and the kit. It does work well once all the mods have been tweaked.

Compression check, then motor start and run. This was done cold, first start of the day on October first, 2013. The compression check is right at the high side of factory spec, both cylinders at 114(sorry I didn't do a close-up on the gauge on the second cylinder).
