In 2005 I decided to make some widgets for Mac OS X Tiger since this was the first release to include Dashboard.

One of the widgets I developed was a simple RSS reader that would read the multiple news feeds from CNN's website. I tried as best as I could to keep it matching CNN's colors and style.

Well to my surprise Steve Jobs himself demos this widget at the WorldWide Developers Conference in 2005 during the Dashboard demo! He did say that it wasn't as nice looking as other widgets,...
