Craig's Cast On
Yet another 2 yarn long tail type cast on. This one is demo'd sling shot method, but any knitter who works the Thumb method, could easily move the yarn to the right hand, since only the left hand yarn wrap is changed. The Alsace Long Tail Cast On
The Alsace Long Tail Cast On--Yet another version of the long tail cast on. This Long Tail variation creates a row of KNITS on the right side of the work --that is when you have finished casting on, and turn the work to begin row 1, you will be looking at a row of knit stitches.
This cast on comes to me from Danni3ll3 over on Ravelry. It gets off to a bit of shaky start--and first reviews other versions of long tail, at about 4:00 point, I start with how to do this cast on.

Long Tail Cast On with Twisted Stitches, worked in ribbing.
This video is a tutorial for learning how to combine elements of cast ons, to create unique cast on edges. This cast on combines the Austrian Long Tail cast on, that features twisted stitches, and the Chinese long tail that readily morphs into 1 X 1 ribbing.

Yet another version of a Long Tail Cast On! I like this one--It alternates a basic long tail stitch with a YO over type stitch, and the result is Knit and Purl ribbing cast on edge.
