Long-tailed Ducks in Estonia
These Long-tailed Ducks were enjoying some winter sunshine on Saaremaa Island, Estonia. The males were displaying to the females. Even some juvenile males were trying their new-found skill. Brilliant calls, I could have watched them and enjoyed all day! Sadly we only stayed about an hour and a half! Lol.

Long-Tailed Duck
In Bootbay Harbor I spotted about 14 Long-tailed ducks. They are not only gorgeous sea ducks, but they make the funniest call. They are divers and while they typically eat close to the surface they can reach depths of about 200 feet!
