In the interest of making the SODAC (Stealth Operations Duck Assault Craft) the most effective duck hunting boat, we put a Mud Buddy long tail on our canoe. Since the canoe doesn't have a transom, we had to build one. We created a series of tests to validate the strength of the mount and the stability of the canoe at various speeds, before we take it out and use it for real.
